The Global Health Research Colloquium aims to promote and cultivate interdisciplinary research, thinking and exchange about issues related to global health.
Doctoral, post-doctoral and senior researchers are invited to present on their current research projects and work in progress. Student researchers are also encouraged to attend. Each month, a researcher will present on a current research project or piece of work (e.g. proposal, article manuscript, etc.), which will be discussed together with the participants.
Prof. Dr. Melanie Böckmann (Juniorprofessorin für Global Sustainable Environmental Health Sciences) from the School of Public Health at Bielefeld university (AG7) will present on her work on: Tobacco smoking and tuberculosis in South Asia: Implementing a behaviour support intervention in the clinic context.
The colloquium meetings will be held on the last Thursday of every month at 13:00-14:30 in room UHG C2-136.
