Interdisciplinary Global Health Research Colloquium:

The Global Health Research Colloquium aims to promote and cultivate interdisciplinary research, thinking and exchange about issues related to global health.

Doctoral, post-doctoral and senior researchers are invited to present on their current research projects and work in progress. Student researchers are also encouraged to attend. Each month, a researcher will present on a current research project or piece of work (e.g. proposal, article manuscript, etc.), which will be discussed together with the participants.


The first colloquium is scheduled on:

Prof. Dr. Melanie Böckmann (Juniorprofessorin für Global Sustainable Environmental Health Sciences)  from the School of Public Health at Bielefeld university (AG7) will present on her work on: Tobacco smoking and tuberculosis in South Asia: Implementing a behaviour support intervention in the clinic context

From February onwards, the colloquium meetings will be held on the last Thursday of every month at 13:00-14:30 in room UHG C2-136.
